Oh Animal Crossing, a game that takes me back when things were so much simple. I remember having my Mom being generous enough(and since I was always the spoiled kid) bought me the 3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf on February 14, the same day everybody was spending their day with their girlfriends, boyfriends, love ones and probably making out and getting laid. But having relationships and dating was not of my concern in my 9 year-old mind. I was only focused on playing video games and getting more plushies of my favorite games. The only relationship I was focusing on was developing my interesting in playing Animal Crossing.
So how did it all start? When I first started my town I had to meet up with my first npc which will set up my town for the game(keep in mind writing this on memory). Like I have said previously in my about me page, I had no idea how to read or write so I just chose a random option that was given to me. I ended up mistakenly making my character avatar a girl, and my town was called "Nicholas" just how I named my character.
Here below is a photo of the character I first started off as. This is my first time walking in my town and setting a place for my home to be, it would start off as a tent.

So my journey begins, I have made my character, my town, and my new house. When I played Animal Crossing I would easily used to the controls and feels of the game and I would do my dialy routine of digging up fossils from the ground, going to town to shop, and talk to my villagers. I did this thing everyday I play animal crossing. I remember going home each morning after school right at 3 pm every time to open up my 3DS and launch Animal Crossing: New Leaf and talk to Isabella upon entering a saved avatar to see her remind me of the time I was playing at, and that's how I know when it was the time when I was playing. Although I played the game like any average player, I easily got losted in the game when it comes to learning or doing new things. Due to the fact I couldn't read, I would struggle communicating to the characters. One of the biggest issues I had with the game was the inventory system when storing away items in your storage cabinets or any furniture that are in your house or in the lockers in the train station. I was sure a hoarder like my Mom likes to claim I am in real life. A lot of items were mainly clothing and furniture that I really liked but could not use to really decorate my house. This leads to the second issue I had with the game, upgrading your house. If you wanted to upgrade your house you had to actually make your house look nice and not look random or bunched together, pretty much you had to decorate it their way for either to get your house upgraded. I never really accoumplished this because I was not really a smart kid and I would always have to get somebody like my Dad to read the dialog for me.
