Shrine of Pikmin

During the early 2010's, there was a game called Pikmin 3 that released back in 2013. When I first saw the tv commercials for the game play on tv I was overlay excited. I remember getting this game on the Wii U as my Mom decided to buy the game for me. It was my first Pikmin game I played in the small franchise as it was.

However, prier to this point, I first knew of Pikmin from a clay animation on Youtube back in the day. I don't at all what so ever remember the channel it was from or what was the name of the video. But certainly it had a funny concept as it apparently was Mario leading in some battle with a creature while some fan oc pikmin types where in the video.

What is Pikmin?

Pikmin is a real time strategy game that has a gameplay revolving on commanding a huge army of these plant creatures called Pikmin. Pikmin come in a variety of types mainly the big three being a Red (Fire) Yellow (Electricity) Blue (Water). But there are many more types of them as the games go on. The Pikmin is a small franchise and consists of 5 games. But should be considered a tetralogy since one of the games is a handheld spin-off.

The game's basic premise is that you crash land on a alien planet called PNF-404 and you play as a captain that has to command the pikmin to do certain tasks. Such as carrying items or attacking enemies. This is basically how it goes in every game but the story and characters are always different. In the first game, you play as Captain Olimar and have to collect all 30 ships parts under 30 days and uses the help of his Pikmin to do so.
